As a homeschooling mum of three boys I know how busy life can get. Too often, mothers are the silent story-tellers of their family's memories, always behind the lens and rarely in the frame.
We are the makers, the heart and soul of our families. You deserve to be seen, celebrated and recognized as the integral part of your family's story, mama.
With a passion for nature and sunsets, I focus on the connection of your unique family bringing to life the love and joy you share together.
What do we wear?
I provide a style guide for every client booked to give you tips and opinions to dress for your shoot in order to get the best photos. You're also more than welcome to send me photos of outfits you're thinking if you need some advice! I also have a client closet for newborn and maternity clients and some outfits for mums suitable for family sessions.
How do we choose a location?
I can talk you through the locations. It often depends on what kind of shoot you are booking. Some locations are a little more child friendly for family shoots for example. But if there's something you see on my Instagram that you like, just let me know!
What time will our session be?
Depending on the time of year, the session will begin around 60 minutes before the sun sets. This is called the golden hour and is my favourite time to shoot. Everyone and everything glows in a magical, warm light. For studio newborn shoots, this is dependent on availability but timing is flexible!
How long will our gallery take after our shoot?
My current turnaround time for galleries to be delivered back after the day of your shoot is 2-3 weeks.
What if it rains?
I always keep days free in my calendar to allow for movement in the event of bad weather so rescheduling shouldn't be a problem for us to find a new date that works for both of us.
When should I book?
4-6 weeks notice in advance for any bookings is best. I recommend maternity sessions take place when you are around 30-34 weeks. For newborn, I will book in a rough date for your shoot and we'll keep in contact for when bub arrives.
